The First Precinct Police Explorers is a career-oriented program that gives young adults the opportunity to explore a career in law enforcement by working with officers from the 1st Precinct. Exploring is an exciting,  educational and leadership program. This program provides character building experiences and mentorship to young individuals; supporting them in achieving their full potential and get a first hand look into what a career in Law Enforcement could be like. In order to be a member of the post, you must be within the ages of 14 (and have completed 8th grade) and 20.

The Suffolk County Police Department's 1st Pct. Explorer Post is located in the Town of Babylon. Meetings are held at the 1st pct., located at 555 Route 109, West Babylon NY.
